unhandled win32 exception when processed about 20%

DVD PictureShow 3.0
P4 2.8GHZ, 512MB DDR2, Plenty of hard drive space (200GB, with 100GB+ available) virtual memory set to auto managed by system.

Try many times, uninstall and re-install, applied patch, still failed at 20%. (soon after that with a error message saying virtual memory too low)

Was able to burn a DVD with about 1GB size OK. But when burning the one that has 3.X GB, it failed at 20%......

Is it because 3.0 is not stable enough? I didn't hear anyone have similar problem as I do.....

Lots of people have this problem. It is not caused by your computer. The answers are...

1. write very small DVD projects
2. wait until Ulead make a patch to fix this (the November patch doesn't help)
3. use different software, or PictureShow version 2

sorry!

Does ULead staff monitor this forum? Do they know the issue and working on it?...

Try this suggestion that was sent to me by a Ulead technician...

Install PhotoExplorer 8.5 from the PictureShow CD & run it
Select your photos & add them to a slideshow (tools & slideshow)
On the slideshow menu bar at the bottom, press the "export to pictureshow" button (5th from the right)

Keep doing that with all your other photos. Each time you need to say "yes" in Pictureshow to add a new slideshow. At the end, burn a DVD image in Pictureshow & then a DVD from the image.

This does seem to work, but the result is quite poor quality pictures, although I've only looked at them on a computer, not a TV

In answer to your questions, I don't know! Can Ulead comment please? Or are you busy working on a patch as a nice Christmas present for us

I suggest you fill the support form on the Ulead web site and ask them for help.

By the way, try to do disc cleaning before you run DPS3 and start burning. This might help to release the resource of your computer.
