I make my final video file (mpeg) I click Share.......Create Disc.......Add Video......I choose my completed video from the list lets call it Vid 1 it appears in the lower field on the bottom...then i choose Add/Edit Chapter with a click in the Create menue box..The Add/Edit Chapter window appears, I scrool through choosing my chapters clicking "Add" each time when i am finished i click "OK" and it brings me back to the Ulead Video Studio Create Disc window, with my origional Vid 1 project still in the lower field. I burn the disc succesfully and when I play it on my TV it I get a Menu screen with just Vid1 showing..... I have to select it then click play then i see all the chapters i created. Is there i way i can just get the chapters to appear and not the Vid 1????
Hope this is not toooooo confusing

No, I don't think it is. You are just doing what most of us do, don't use the right terminology and then wonder why we don't get what we want.
Let me try to put it simple. In order to read a chapter in a book, you need to open the book first, don't you. Now, if you are in the library, in front of the shelf containing the books of interest to you, you can just pick the title you want, they are all there.
What you want is a title menu, not a chapter. In order to get that, you need to split your video into lots of different, independent video clips and add all these to the time line and create your menu. You cannot split a title into chapters and only display the chapters.
Hope that's not too confusing either.

Wilhiho, when you hit the NEXT button to get to the MENU setup step, hit the button under the preview screen called ADVANCED SETTINGS (under the right corner of the preview screen). Make sure there is no check mark next to Add Title Menu. I think this will give you what you want (just a menu for your chapters) -- no need to split your video into smaller clips...
