Text Menus
I would like to have have text menus instead of the picture type. Is there a way to do this in Video Studio 8?
I don't think so.
You need a DVD authoring program like DVD Workshop. If your computer has Video Studio loaded on it. You can use the Special Upgrade version of DVD Workshop Express. ($150).
With DVD Workshop, you can use text as a menu button, or an image (or "button") next to the text. I use test buttons alot. I just made a concert-video DVD, and I used an image of a guitar as a button, next to each song title.
You can make all kinds of menus, add alternate soundtracks, subtitles... all of that special DVD stuff. I just copied a VHS tape to DVD, and I made two soundtracks, one original uncensored, and one censored.

Thanks DVDDoug. I did not think it was possible but I thought I would ask. looks like I may need to save a little money.
