New to Ulead Photo Express

I do not understand how to get my picture show to play on my dvd player. I am using the cd dvd picture show 4. I downloaded the trial version to see if I could do it, but I can't. Does it have something to do with the output that I select. If so I do not know which one to select. I am buring with a cd burner onto a music cd-r. Is this a simple fix or what. I am trying to play it on a magnavox dvd player, but it says it doesn't recognize the disk or something like that. PLEASE HELP
