Kodak V603 Mov file problems rendering

Post by steve_ss »

I have done a search here on this topic and find it a little confusing. The clip plays well with sound, the "jog slider" stays at the beginning. When attempting to play as a project it appears to render but stays only on the first frame. The "successfully" rendered will not play. Attempted to use batch convert with no success. What is the simplest way change to a successful AVI file.

Clip properties:
Quicktime movie files
Movie size 640 X 480
1 video track 1 sound track

Video track 1
Compression MPEG-4
Attributes 24 bits, 640 X 480
Frame rate 30 frames/sec

Sound track 1
Compression ulaw 2:1
Atributes 16.000 KHZ, 16 bits mono[/quote]

You could try installing the Kodak *.MOV patch found here:
http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 2298#62298.

Is this one of the posts you've read? http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 6883#96883

Thanks vidoman and sjj1805, the patch works well. There already was a UVQT file in the VIO directory (dated 3/1/05) so I renamed it, was that the correct thing to do?
I will go through more of the FAQs now.
