Cannot Open DVR-MS file

I have one DVR-MS file recorded on my Media centre, it's 2.68 gig but when I play it with Media Player it says it's not protected and to all intents and purposes looks like every other DVR-MS file I have recorded. Normally when I try to edit these they get converted automatically and then it's OK to edit. With this one I get a message saying unable to open and a code of 19001:1:1. I'm using Video Studio 10 Plus

Anybody any clues?

I have no idea what that error code means, but the file is probably corrupted. (Sometimes a corrupt file will play OK, but cause trouble when you try to convert it or make a DVD from it.)

You may have better luck with a different conversion program. SUPER is free, so it's worth a try...
