Error Message- Missing Video Capture Device

I have used Ulead since version 7- all of a sudden I get an error message when I try to capture video that says "Video Device Capture Missing"- help!!!

More help in the way of camcorder make and model, connection type etc would be of use.

If it's just stopped working it may well be a hardware failure, camcorder port, firewire cable, pc firewire port, so try the testing listed on this page and report back with the results
