Hi JC,
JCSullivan wrote:PI 13 - unlucky 13 for westerners. Hmmm will you have fixed all the reported and confirmed bugs!!!!

Heck, will you have even answered our questions?

Mr Chien, it must be difficult wearing several hats (not a personal attack) You're a Ulead Mod and I am presuming an employee as well. You have a direct link to the developers and the marketing as well.

Yet you do nothing.
Yes, I'm a Mod here, but I'm not a Ulead employee now so I cannot fix anything for Ulead or act as a Ulead person.

I did help to transfer your PI issues to the PI development team in Ulead, but I cannot control Ulead people to response, confirm or fix anything.

Sorry if the issue transferring does not help, but I really think this is a personal attack and you are targeting at the wrong person.

Let it be publically repeated for clarity, this is NOT a personal attack on the person of Mr Chien. You sir, did try to help but those at Ulead haven't even had the common decency to even acknowlege ANY of the BUGS especially one which is conciderable.

However it is an attack of the business-type on anyone remotely connected with Ulead and the non-service it provides. Perhaps if this board wasn't located/paid-for at/by Ulead my wording would be different.

Will Corel Corp be any different? We'll have to wait and see but I would like to hear from them NOW, on how they intend on addressing the BUG issues. It is in the contract somewhere I hope.

Quite frankly JC, you are starting to p**s me off. It's one thing to come here with a problem to ask for help. If all our combined experience is insufficient or, as is the case with your Task bug, we cannot help, there is no point coming back here to rant at every opportunity. To personally attack people and later saying "I didn't mean to" doesn't cut it with me either. 8)

To state the bleeding obvious is not going to help any either.

Now look here Heinz, you have gone too far on this one. I did not attack anyone personally and I said so from the beginning however, if the shoe fits you wear it. I didn't even acuse onyone having illegal software. Well gee heck, I didn't even go back and edit my post so as I would not be embarrased.

All my posts have been addressed at Ulead and their support and not once have I pointed at any individual except those who claim to be UleadMod - as stated at the top.

Here's some more ranting, if you don't want to read it skip to the next thread.

As this is a public forum I intend to keep coming back in here and bloody rant as much as is required for Ulead to wake-up and realise that people do not have money growing on trees and do (edit: the word do should read OR) get free software.

I've invested in Ulead for a long time and that includes time spent learning their products - the least I expect as a paying customer is a response from them, and NOW Corel.

If I have a problem with my vehicle I will return to the dealer until it is fixed not throw my hands in the air and give up. Ulead hides behind the internet and the cost of a telephone call.

So finally, would you please get off your high horse. Whenever there needed to be a Thank you to the many volunteers here and elsewhere I was and am one of the first to say it AND that included YOU when ever you deserved it. Do you disagree with that one - don't think so.

Heinz-Oz and Myself are moderators of the forum.
The point I was addressing is the final line of this statement:

I was pointing out the fact that we moderators are NOT employees of Ulead, we are customers like yourself who have joined this user forum with the intention of attempting wherever possible to assist fellow members like yourself who have problems.

Next time I feel like kicking someone in the teeth, I'm going to tell hime first that this is not a personal attack  that should help ease the pain

JC, you can rant here as long as you like but do not aim your rant at anyone specific. Except in my case because I asked for it  I have been known to be critical of Ulead products as well. You will notice that if you care to read my close to 3000 posts on this forum alone.

However, in all the time I participated in this forum, I never had the impression that any ULEAD official would take any notice of what has been said here 8) There were a few individuals, like HT, who after we suspected them to be ULEAD employees, came out and confirmed it. He has been more than helpful to this community and I respect him for it. Like it or not, if you attack him in the way you did, that shoe fits me also and I will put it on 8)

I have all the time and more for someone comming here for help and trying to help themselves by providing enough detail to base some attempted help on. General ranters who keep beating a dead horse I don't like very much.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to change the program code here to fix software bugs. If we were we would  Having said that, we are also not here to serve as a punching bag for ULEAD either. If you have a bone to pick with them, go and pick it where they pay attention, not here.

Just to clarify one small point by Heinz, HT is a former Ulead Employee.
We are very lucky to have him amongst our membership, he is a real asset to our forum.

I think it's going to be off topic. Thread closed.
