s-video input is not an option for import

I have a Sony combo DVD/VCR player attached to the S-video port of my ATI TV Wonder Elite PCIe card. I want to capture this device, but my only option for input at Analog_TV-0; Analog_TV_1 and Digital TV. I have selected "Import, capture from devices"

Using the ATI Cataylst software, I have a S-vidoe option and my VCR tape play fine.

Any ideas?

S-video is analog, you need to use one of the analog settings.

I have tried both ANALOG_TV_0 and ANalogy_TV_1. Neither showed a picture. ANALOG_TV_1 actually crashed the software.

You need to use the ATI software to capture. Ulead programs have an issue with Catalyst software. Just search the forum for "catalyst" and you will find plenty of proof for that. Especially with analog capture devices, it is advisable to use the capture software and ULEAD version supplied with it. These are tweaked to work with your device.
