Processing multiple images in a folder?
I shoot various sporting events and would like to apply an action to an entire folder of jpegs without opening each photo one at a time. Is this possible in PI 12? If so, can someone point me me in the right direction? I sincerely appreciate your time.

Depending on what you want to do PhotoExplorer that ships with PI has quite a nice batch processing capability. The advantage over what Heinz suggests being that you can see all your photos in the folder directly select which you want and apply batch conversions/modifications.
One other little known advantage of PEX is that if working with jpegs the rotation routine is lossless in other words you will not degrade the image simply by rotating it.

Another method you can use is to choose is using the browser in PI. (I used PI12)
Go to file, preferences, open & save and tick the 'use browser manager to open images. Do the reverse if you do not wish to continue using the browser.
Open PhotoImpact, click on the folder on desktop that denotes opening files and the browser will open. Find you folder containing photographs.
In here you can choose and on the menu bar there's batch task and batch convert. You can also click on the E icon and it opens a panel showing information regarding the image. If you double click on any image it will immediately open in PI. This can also be done by clicking on a series of pictures by holding down the control key whilst choosing. All these will then be opened in PI.
Nick's suggestion of using PEX is also another excellent way.
