mpeg1 files creates error

All of a sudden now when I insert an mpeg1 file in my VS10 storyboard and go to play it, it creates a Microsoft Error message and closes VS10 down. Any ideas why this might be happening?

It only happens when I place the mpeg1 video file in the main storyboard track, if I place it in a lower track it words fine...

I fixed this the old faithful way, un-installed VS10 and re-installed it. This fixed it. Why did this happen? Who knows, another Microsoft mystery!
