Photo Express 2 SE

Post by hollywhite66@yahoo.com »

Hello! Please bear with me. I hope this question is not a bad question. I am very desperate for answers.

I use an older version of Ulead -- Ulead photo express 2 SE ¡V for capturing images off the television.

Only a ¡§singe image¡¨ can be captured at a time. Because the ¡§capture device¡¨ then closes after pressing "get image." RRrrr.

My question: are there any tips or a specific thing or keyboard command can allow Ulead Photo Express 2 SE to capture short or long sequences of images???????¡¨

Because it is so very frustrating, being held to capturing a lone image then having the ¡§import/capture device close,¡¨ thus having me to reopen import again and again to once again capture a lone image per.

Why does it close anyway? Version 1.0 DOESN¡¦T. I still use the original 1.0 photo express TV capture because it allows long lightening-fast sequences to be captured by repressing "get image", but they are not automatically saved. Wish they did save automatically, though. (I¡¦d love to be able to capture sequences and have the captures be saved automatically. My arm kills after individually saving 800 captures each day on 1.0) I have no money to upgrade, even if it¡¦s inexpensive.

Please, any tips are well come to allow me to capture a ¡§sequence of captures off of TV¡¨ on "Photo Express 2 SE." I will be forever thankful.

Thank you. Much gratitude,

Holly

Sorry about that but not many people are using PEX, let alone such an old version. I don't even know it but have a copy of a newer version which I also never use :? I only stumbled on to this by accident.

As the name suggests, Photo Express, it predominantly is used for working with images not video. Maybe you should look at a program like VideoStudio or DVD MovieFactory to capture video.

Your Hauppauge card should also have come with capture software, why don't you use that?

Thank you for your time, Heinz. Honest. I am thankful to you.

I choose to not use the other card because it captures slowly -- too much time between captures.

I will look into a new Ulead device. Again, thank you.

Hugs to you,

Holly
