Anyone every try to create the flashing digit intro from 24 before? I've been trying in other programs, but no luck at all. Anyone out there?

I think it would be possible in Cool3D PS. You could use narrow rectangles for each segment of the numbers. Then you would have to animate each one.
What other programs have you tried? This seems like it could be done rather easily with a flash authoring program.

From an optimist point of view, anything is possible but knowing the limitations of this software, it is quite unlikely. COOL3D PS could get you started but the rest would have to be done in post. Using a NLE like Media Studio Pro with its vast selection of video filters might be able to accomplish your desired "24" effect. To be honest, for this kind of work, the indusrty standard is Adobe After Effects.
I've done similar using Videostudio 10+.
