When creating anything with C3DPS, should everything that is added done so on the first frame of the timeline, then manipulated using show/hide further down the timeline? As it stands, that appears how things are supposed to be done.
For instance, I have a 160 frame video, at about frame 100, I want text to appear, which I can make appear using show/hide. But, I want some text effects to go with it. (text appearing with a text explosion in reverse, like pebbles coming out of the bottom of the video)
I am getting varying results if I start everything on frame 1, then showing the text and effects on that text at frame 100. Sometimes the text appears, but, the font is halved (the upper half of the text only shows) or, the effect appears, but the text is missing. (This may be unrelated to the timeline, but, me mixing a bad font with the project)
I did what I wanted to do successfully using the demo some time ago, but, for the life of me, I cannot reproduce it..
What am I doing wrong?
General Editing question
Bought the Vasst DVD, now, everything fell into place. If this thread could be deleted, I'd be very happy..
Since this post, I bought Media Studio Pro, and Video Graphics Lib.. One of the first projects with VGL is having my son point his finger at our dog, lazer beam hitting dog, and smoke rising from his butt.. Think this will be a challenging first project..
I do want to thank all that replied to this question, your help and guidence was very helpfull...
