load from stream error

Hallo ! I'm new in this forum, however I did read some topics about my problem, but it's not enough.. So, I got the eval version of the Videostudio 10, until today no problems, all was perfect, but today ! I tried to delete some videos coming from my cam on the library of the VS, and by error I removed the USB plot. Then after, crash and from this moment still get the message on start : load on stream error, and the white windows on the library side of the screen in VS. Nothing to do, tried to remove all than reinstall, the thing appears still and still... Can somebody help me ! I believe still that the VS is excellent product, but nowhere clear answers about this problem. Thanks in advance for your help/.

Est-ce que tus peux expliquer en français ce qui arrive car je ne comprends pas ce que tu veux dire par "I removed the USB plot". C'est quoi un 'USB plot'? Et si tu peux expliquer avec beaucoup de detailles, autant mieux!

(I asked if Peter if he could explain his problem in French because I could not understand what he meant by saying he removed the 'USB plot'. And I added that the more details he could provide, the better...)

bonjour ! Tout simplement pendant la suppression des fichies de la blibliothèque de VS sur ecran principal j'ai enlève la connexion USB qui joint mon camescope à l'ordinateur, et comme VS a crashé, j'ai du le fermer avec fermeture "musclée" de gestionnaire (ctl+alt+suppr). Après le démarrage suivant les icones blanches sont apparues et le fameux message avec.

Ok. Apart from the new problem of how his accent marks are displayed on screen, he says that, quite simply, during the deletion of files from the VSlibrary on the main screen, he disconnected the USB connection between his camera and the computer. VS crashed and he had to do a hard reboot (Ctrl+Alt+Del). After the restart, the white thumbnails appeared and the well known message with them i.e. load from stream error.

Apparemment, tu as des reste de fichiers vidéos corrompus sur l'ordinateur.Si VS reste ouvert, donc est-ce que tu as essayé de cliquer avec le bouton droit du mouse sur une de ces icones blanches. Tu dois choisir 'Supprimer' en même temps poussant sur le bouton Shift. Alors tu dois recevoir un message comme "Supprimer l'icone?" et puis un deuxième "Y inclu le fichier original?" (desolé mais je connais pas le programme en français!

) Accepte (Oui/OK) tous les deux. Normalement, l'icone doit disparaître et l'original avec.

(I suggested that it appears as though he has the remains of some corrupt video files on his computer. If VS remains open when he starts it, has he tried right clicking one of the white thumbnails. He should then choose Delete while pressing the Shift button. He should then receive a message 'Delete thumbnail' followed by a second 'asking if you want to delete the original file as well. Say yes to both. Normally, the white thumbnail should disappear and the original file as well.)

thanks for quick answer, yes tried to do it, but nothing to do, cannot click with any button of my mouse on it, immediately the same message appears, I wonder, where from the software tries to load the old files...

hallo again ! Just tried something else, your advise works !!!! Not with Editor, but in the Video Assistant I arrived to delete all those bloody files. As you said ! Thank you a lot for your help.
