I cannot get any audio with my VS8. The video quality is good but there is no audio AT ALL. I am using Avermedia Ultra TV Media Center PCI 500. I can record and playback on this media by it self. But with the VS8 I only get video. When I playback a video in VS8, which was recorded with the Ultra TV, I get both audio and video. But VS8 by itself is not giving me any audio. I have a DELL 4600 with Windows XP SP2 Home Edition. Please help if you can.

Audio absent
Me, too. I get no audio playback from a ULead MPEG-4 file (converted from an MPEG1 movie clip) when attempting to preview the conversion in a Roxio DVD production. However, if I uninstall ULead, the audio in the ULead MPEG-4 conversion works fine in the Roxio Easy Media Creator preview. It feels like some kind of a boot config conflict is occuring, but I cannot see any evidence that ULead is loading components on startup.
