Ok I was just given a camcorder for xmas, so now I have two of them almost exact same models. I want to use them to record "stereo" movies for use in creating 3d movies viewable using the shutter style glasses, by combining the camcorders together and filming two slightly different images.
What I need to know now is if there is a way to interlace the two seperate videos into a single video file? That way the video is alternated between frames. Video 1=field 1, video 2=field 2
Any help would be great, I know the process to make it work, just dont know how to get to that end product.
Thanks, Joe
can I interlace two videos?

I'm not real big on gimmik items but this was raved about when researching some video options for ASL (American Sign Language). The concept of trying to sync two cameras mounted a specified distance apart was frowned on as costly (the interlinking mechanism or post production) and cumbersome for home 3d.

Hopefully you'll find these links usefull. One other link I reference quite frequently for general camcorder info is

Good luck and maybe share a clip once you get setup

You got me Steve. What am I supposed to be seeing? I've tried cross-eyed, upside down, 3d glasses, shot glasses...?

Not everyone can see it but most can.
Its a 3D image - doesnt need glasses - just need to adjust your focus.
Try looking at a point before your computer screen, the fishes should start to stand out in several layers.
