When installing on my system I'm prompted for a file layout.bin (pft105.tmp) on disk 1 but this is a downloaded version that i brought last summer, so there are no disks.
Does anybody have a clue?

First, welcome to the forum. 
The installer file you got might be corrupted for some reason. Maybe you need to contact Element 5 for redownloading the software.
