Can't change case in Photo Explorer

Hi,
I have DVD Movie Studio 3.5 and have been trying to change the name and extensions in Photo Explorer. I would like everything in lower case letters. WHen I choose auto rename, the case is changed, but when I leave the folder, the case extensions automatically return to upper case. How can I solve this problem?
