Video time wrong
I have the MovieFactory v4.04 and just recorded the Rose Parade. For some reason it displays that the complete length of the video is only 6.35 seconds, yet the file is 3.7GB and I can watch the complete video without a problem. Any ideas on how to fix this???
Thanks
Thanks

That tells me that the clip is 6 secs and 35 frames. However what video standard uses a frame rate greater then NTSC's?
I just loaded a video clip into DMF4, and to get the total duration you need to drag the playhead to the far right, in other words to the end of the clip. In doing so it reflected the correct duration.

Well, that is a good reason
. Hopefully someone with experience in Hauppauge cards will be around soon. I don't use them. It appears to me that your mpeg file needs the time stamp corrected. There are programs for that. Try searching this board meanwhile for Hauppauge. You may find that someone has had similar problems in the past.

Hi, do you install the Hauppauge device support pack for DVDMF 4 in the following link?
http://www.ulead.com/tech/dmf/dmf_ftp_40.htm
After you install the support pack, you might need to recapture the video....
Hope this helps.
