During working, the application crashes. This happened with many files, both .VOB and .mpg files. So, I don't think the issue is with corrupt files.

Also, I uninstalled and reinstalled Ulead videostudio 2 times. Also, I reinstalled Wndows XP and again reinstalled Ulead Videostudio. Still the problem is there.

Two types of failure occurs. Most of the times, the application freezes and the error "Faulting application vstudio.exe, version 10.0.0.0, faulting module mpegin.dll, version 1.1.1.168, fault address 0x0005d8cc.", I can see in Eventviewer.

And sometimes, the application just closes without any messages.

Not able to figure out what the issue is. And my laptop have 512 MB RAM and have abt 25MB harddisk free space.

Thanks,
Pradeep.
If you only have 25 MEGAbytes of free space you will be running into trouble.
1 hour of DV (avi) video consumes 25 GIGAbytes of hard drive space.
1 hour of MPEG video (dependant upon quality settings) 4 GIGAbytes of
hard drive space.

Not so minor correction, Steve: one hour of DV/AVI consumes around 13 GB (not 25).

Yes I meant to put 13 GB per hour - Thanks for the correction Ken.
