Download problems -- please help!

I purchased PhotoImpact 12 - was sent the link for download etc but no serial number. I have hunted in the FAQ's to try and find out what to do but the closest thing I can find is your serial number is located in the help area of the program. The problem is I need the serial number before I can get into the program. Any advice? Don't they normally email you the serial number? Thanks.

Sometimes your serial number is embedded in the program and appears when you install.
Otherwise you need to contact whoever you purchased the product from
usually 'Element 5'
