VS10+ Slideshow - Image Files Come Out Blurry

I don't know if VS 7 projects can be opened by 10+. I would have to resuscitate one of my archived projects and try it. If the Ulead software developers have been doing their jobs right, backwards compatibility should be supported. :shock:

I Downloaded the trial version of VS10+ and was able to load my VS7 project into it!!

I was able to set the project settings to 1920x1080 @ 25,000Kbps.

As a test, I am rendering just 3 minutes of the 40 minute slide show, using the "Same as Project Settings" options.

However, it's taking a VERY L-O-N-G time! At the current rate, it will take over an hour to render just 3 minutes!

What am I doing wrong?

OK, I discovered that my problem was that I forgot to check the box that limits the renering to the "Preview Range".

But now I am having a problem settin the resolution to 1920x1280
