problems with ulead video 8

hi, i am using ulead video 8 to make picture presentation.
in the start i didn`t got any problem but now when i have 140 pictures i got a lot of troubles.
troubles like:i am opening the project and after 2 or 3 minutes the program is shuting down exedently,
another problem is when i am making video file the program can stuck in the middle (it can be on 20% or at 40% or at 99%).
now i am almost at the end of the project and i can`t finish it becouse of all those problems.
i need help and i hope someone will help me!!!!!
