FINISHED PRODUCT - DVD COMPATABILITY

Post by herman »

My project turned out great, using Video Studio 9. While I recorded them to DVD-R's, only two of the four people I sent them to, could play them on their player's (late models). I could play them on both of mine before I sent them out. I'm wondering if anyone has had better luck with a particular brand or type of blank DVD, that works best? Thanks.

Welcome to the wonderful world of home-made DVDs.

Please visit Video Help for a DVD player compatibility list. Take the time to check out the site, it's a great resource.

Thanks Jeff. I checked it out and it is a good site. I know I can't put it out with any guarantee that it will play on all player's. I only want to know what other's have found, the most successful type of media, they had the best success rate with? Thanks.
