Hi Pirrka, welcome to the forums,
What version are you using, Cool3D 3.5, or Cool3D Production Studio? You also need to know what some of the Toolbars, Panels are, and how to use them.
In C3DPS, after creating your cube, use the Faces toolbar, to switch off, the faces you do not want to apply the image to. Then in the Attribute Panel, choose Texture, Use Image. Navigate to your image file, and open it. You will have to tweak it to fit your surface.
Next in the Faces Toolbar, switch on another face, and switch off the one you just completed. Then follow the same above procedure. Do this until you have an image on all sides.

Did you wind up with C3D PS or C3D 3.5?, and you say you were able to create your spinning cube? Happy to hear that..
