The computer I am currently using at my workplace has no sound card so viewing the video only. Video 2 needs a 'don't try this at home' warning otherwise I can see young kids doing it and the bottle hitting them in the face.
John and Jills wedding could be spiced up a bit by using the Ken Burns Effect. Take a look at the Telford Video I have included in the above link to see how I introduced movement with pan and zoom or crop filters.
I was using MediaStudio so was able to include all of those fancy moving paths and picture in picture effects, but it still gives you an idea of what you can do with a slideshow even with VideoStudio.

Clark,
If you are using the Default layout for VS10+, your Libraries (where the Video, Audio, Filters etc., are located, is on the Top Right, then beneath it you should see 2 Tabs, Image and Attribute if you insert an image. For Videos they will say VIdeo and Attribute. When you insert the video to the Timeline, on the Right of the Image Tab there are radial buttons. Simply check the one that says Pan and Zoom. Then you can choose and customize the Pan and Zoom effect...
To do a Pan and Zoom on videos, you need to drag the Pan & Zoom Filter from the Video Filters Library.
