No sound - DVD MovieFactory

Post by daithi »

Hello

I used the "Create video Disc" feature to burn a movie that I downloaded but when I triued to play it in my DVD player for TV there was no sound. There is sound when I play it in WinAmp and with the DVD MovieFactory preview feature.

Any suggestions....anyone?

Thanks in advance

Before you burn the project in DVDMF, check the project properties by clicking on the Gear button on the lower left corner. If your DVD player is a NTSC one, do not use MPEG Audio as the audio for your DVD, use LPCM Audio or Dolby Digital instead. Some NTSC deck players will not accept MPEG Audio so you will get no sound when you play the DVD.

If you do not see the Dolby Digital option in the project settings, you need to upgrade your DVDMF to the full version.

Hope this helps.

Is the "gear" button the one called "Project "Settings? It looks like a cog. There I see options for MPEG settings for file conversion and navigation Controls.
