In version 7 when capturing video from TV, I get an excellent video recording, now in this new version (Video Studio 10 plus) I am getting green negative effect recoding video! Why is that? Please help. I used the same method and connection and equipment in version 7, and I got an excellent video recording! But not in this version (Video Studio 10 plus). It¡¦s strange! Thank you!

Please click here --> Image so that we can then view your system specifications.

If you still have version 7 on your computer you can use that to capture and then use the new version for editing/authoring.

Is that a bug in VS 10 Plus - Can't capture TV recording

Hello Steve! I have a powerful Dell computer with 3 GHz processor, 1 GB Ram and 180 GB HD and excellent Creative Graphic card. Surely, I shouldn¡¦t have to use the previous version (version 7) along side this version. Is that a bug with this version (version 10 Plus). Thank you.

You didn't by any chance receive your copy of VS7 with the computer or TV capture card, did you? I ask because sometimes the card manufacturers tweak an earlier version of VS to work with their card. I don't know your card or whether it can only use specially tweaked software. But it could be that VS10 does not work properly with the card because it has not been tweaked to do so. In which case, your only alternative is to do as Steve suggested...
