Help on how to do cuts and transitions

Post by RHSS »

just got a Sony hard drive video camera and ULEAD STUDIO 10-P was recommended to use for editing with that camera.the past three years I have been a Pinnacle Studio 10.7 user. Had no trouble learning to use that program Hit little razor blade to cut delete what you don't want inserted transition if you think it looks good no problem all.

I've worked with this program over the holiday weekend and of finding out how inapt I am at working it. I've been all over the Web trying to find tutorials on how to do the very basics no success there.

I have not yet found out how to do the simplest of things so for now this program is fairly useless to me but I really would like to make it work.

Any help will be appreciated
thank you

Hi Bob, welcome to Ulead VS and the forums..:)

Heres a couple to get you started. They and many others are found in our tutorials section.

You might want to read through From Camcorder to DVD tutorial.

Recommended Procedures have been developed to help guide you through the mine-field of video editing, as it pertains to Ulead's VideoStudio Programs. They can be viewed here:
Recommened Procedures Updated Version

Then you can also tell us how or what you are having problems with. You will find in short order several of us chiming in... However if it is problems with the program functioning then we ask that you use this form approach:

Please read this post, and return with as much of the information as possible.

Instead of looking for a Razor blade - look for a pair of scissors instead.

Can I assure you that VideoStudio is far from useless and can do everything that you will need to transfer your Video succesfully from your camcorder to a DVD.

As for tuorials - please read this :-

and please have a look at my little website.
