Is MediaStudio 8 worth the price versus MediaStudio 10 Plus? I have the trial version of MediaStudio 8 and the only difference other then have the auto music feature which is limited by the amount of songs and more channels that I will never use. I use two audio and two video channels at the very most. I have to make a good argument to my girlfriend before I spend $300 for the software.

Whoa, Clark resize your avatar. That is way too large... They are not be exceed 80 x 80 px.
There are a lot more differences between VS10+ and MSP8 then just auto music and more channels. I'm not going to attempt to make your arguement for your girlfriend, sorry..
, but you have more then just chroma-key with MSP, such as Luma Key, Color Key, Alpha Channel, Grey Key, Multiply, etc., Masking as Overlay Clip, Video and Image Matte, Nested Timelines, KeyFrameable Motion Paths, just to name a very few.
So yes there is a significant difference between them. However you do state that you only use 2 Overlay and 2 Audio tracks, so based on that, I think that VS10+ would suit you better.
