Movie factory 4 won't burn to disk

Post by colj »

I have recently upgraded my harddrive and reloaded all my software. Everything is working again except MovieFactory4 which stalls and locks up during the compiling process. The support team suggested I load the 4.04 update, and this has fixed that stalling/lockup problem. Now the DVD (either RW + or -, or DVD-R) fails to burn in either of my DVD writers. The error message says Insufficient disk space....... (the movie I have created is 3.89Gb). I suspect the program is detecting that the writers have CDs in them and not DVDs. Have I forgotten to set something in my reload of software? I have previously burned 100 or more DVDs without any problems.

Maybe you forgot to check Windows TEMP folder setting, MF working folder, or target folder for burning. And the space left on each of those drives.

Fantastic, an easy fix. Great work, thankyou. I uninstalled Ulead Data-Add 2.0 and everything works again with no error messages.
All the best for 2007.
