Deleting Old Photos

Post by 2aycocks »

I'm sure this is proabably the most simple question anyone has ever posted, and I feel silly asking it, but I Must!
My picture file is way too full of photos and I have to week through them when looking for something. How do I Delete the photos that I no longer want?
Everytime I try to delete one, it disappears like it is gone. But it only reappears as a COPY!! I cant get rid of the darn things!
HELP!!!

It might be a good idea to copy the ones you are thinking of deleting to a CD first. That way you'll still have them if you change your mind later on.

What I do is click on the photo that I want to delete, and the little box appears around it....then I hit delete. I asks if I am sure I want it to go to the recycle bin......yes. I then go to the recycle bin on my computer and delete it.
Then PRESTO! It reappears in my photos section as a copy. This has driven me crazy. Some of the photos I do NOT want to keep, just delete. There has to be a simple way to get rid of them.
Help? Kay

Then I think it's not a Ulead problem.

You can just right click on the Recycle Bin icon and then select Empty to confirm the file deletion.

Hope this helps.
