fix for bad audio on avi file using videostudio 8?

please help? is there any plug ins or aditional programs to fix a video that has crackle/pop noise. I tried sound forge but it doesn't support all avi files. it was video recorded at a concert and I have pop & crackle throughout.

You need to create a .wav file from your video ("Share >> Create Sound file) you can then import that into SoundForge and manipulate it - then re-import it to a UVS sound track and mute the original video sound. UVS8 does not contain any sophisticated sound manipulation functions.

Using Vs8.
If you split audio, then select audio filter you get a few filter options.

Never used this option.

Let us know if it does the job.
