Need Help With Smartsound In VS 10 Plus

I may have really messed up. I do not know. I tried to update my Smartsound to 3.0.3.0 I followed ininstallation procedure. It told me to uninstall and then run the update again. Now I get 2 error messages. I see where it tells me to install "Windows Installer Clean-up Utility" and "Windows Temp Cleaner". This looks like a lot of trouble for me. Is there any way that is easy to get back to the "Smartsound" that I had before? That is, can I somehow copy my Smartsound folder from the "VS 10 Plus" program disk? I really need help. Thanks very much in advance.

sjj1805, I followed your instructions. I downloaded the windows installer clean-up utility. It will not run. I get a Windows Script Host Message along with an error that says: The Specified Module Could Not Be Found. Will it be easier for me to uninstall VS 10 Plus and reinstall? If so can you point me to the correct procedure for uninstalling? I really do need the Smartsound.
