Audio out of sync with video
In some of my projects the audio gets out of sync with the video. It happens sporadically, with no pattern I can discern. The video I'm working with is captured from a DV camcorder. Any ideas? I'm working on a fairly new PC, with Windows Media Center and plenty of horsepower (processor, hard drive, RAM, video card, etc.)

Hi Dmickity, Merry Christmas, welcome to the forums,
OOS (or Out Of Sync) issues generally occur with the MPEG format, and not DV (avi). Also I know you say you have plenty of horsepower, but some formats like Xvid and DivX require much more, when trying to convert to DVD MPEG-2..

Some of this info entails how you got the video clips from your camcorder to your PC, and the format(s) being captured/edited. I have a suspicion this is where the problem may be.
