CAN'T REGISTER VS10+, CAN'T INSTALL EXTRAS SOLD WITH IT

I bought my VS10+ online thru ULead Mall on Jan 18. Seller element 5 handled the sale. It's been 5 days and I still haven't been able to use the whole thing properly. Maybe I can get quicker help from you.

I can't register VS10+ bec page that comes right after I key in License Number pre-terminates with this error messsage: Done, but with errors on page. There are 5 items missing on the page.

Do you think this failure to register is what causes the problems I encounter when I try to install the other 4 files that came with VS10+? Files are VS10_contentpack_e, VS10_bonus, menu template pack and movie wizard template pack.

Error message for all four is: Unhandled Exception> Error Number 0x80040702> Description: Failed to load DLL: xSystem> Setup will now terminate.

The VS10_bonus file was able to install InterVideo WinDVD7 and Cool3D 3.0 SE before coming up with this error message. Now, my question re those 2 are, where do I get the License Key that they ask for during registration? Is it the same as my License Key for the main VS10+?

Hope you can get me going soon. There's a project I need to finish really quickly and the friend on whose computer I used to work has left with her laptop. :(

First I think it was a typo that you purchased VS on Jan 18, I think yoiu meant Dec 18... :)

No, you should be able to install VS before registering it. In fact you need to install it, before you can register, so that you will be able to provide your serial number. The serial number can be found in VS by clicking on the :?: and selecting About VideoStudio. You can not copy/paste it, so write it down.

It seems to me that there might be a problem with your system.
Please complete your System Information in your profile. Clicking on this button -->Image will take you to a short tutorial, explaining how to find and complete that information. This way it will always be available, and will save you from retyping it in the future.

Try doing a complete un-install/re-install. Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. Instructions can be found here : Re-installation of Ulead Products

You might also try downloading fresh copies before the download links expire.

Yes, you're right. I did purchase it Dec 18...I think I must have been thinking about the installation deadline while my fingers were typing.

Maybe I didn't explain myself well. I did finish installing the main part of VS10+. In fact, I am able to use it to continue doing some editing work on my project. But the registration form is not loading properly and gets pre-terminated.

For this reason, I cannot get technical assistance for my problem loading the bonus/sale packages.

The registration process has nothing to do with the component you install, only the serial number will.

If you still get the registration issue, contact Ulead Customer Service via the following link:

I think you have a corrupted download for the components, please contact Element 5 to get the download again.
