Installation problem of UVS10+

hello,

I use videostudio since version 7.
I have UVS 9 installeted, and I try the installation of UVS 10 + french upgrade.

During the beginning of the installation, the proces stop and give me the following message :

The installation didn't find UVS 10 ESD.

You appear to have a faulty download.
Try downloading again before the link expires.

I've downloaded it with the 3 links and none seems to work.
I try again with the complete version 297MB

I have exactly the same problem, it isn'ts due to the downloading.

The error message is real strange, that it reports it can not find VS10 installed, before it has completed the installation.. :?

I don't know if you are already doing this, but if not... Make sure that all background applications are disabled. This includes anti-virus, screensavers, spyware checkers, auto-updates, anything that might suddenly think it needs to become active. You might want to review Steve's tutorial on Creating a Video Editing Profile.

Try doing a complete un-install/re-install. Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. Instructions can be found here : Re-installation of Ulead Products
