Streaming Video question
I am using Ulead Video Editor 10 and I am a new user. I shot a video with an HD sony video camera. I am saving the video in WMV HD (1440 X 1080). When I play the video in IE windows media player the video quality is very poor; it is grainy and dark. I used plenty of professional lights while shooting my videe. While playing the Video in the editor the quality is excellent. My objective for this project is to play a streaming video on a website. Does anyone have any ideas?

First check out the HD Tutorial at http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=13872
This will show you how to create HD video files - Mpeg2 HDV and Divx HD work well, as does Xvid, both of which will compress HD more than WMV.
Most of my attempts to get WMV to work have been unsatisfactory but if you jump to page 5 of that thread, you will see that some users have found a way to do WMV.

Re: Streaming Video question
For steaming video I'm personaly using Flash(video on demand) or Windows Media Encoder 9(live broadcasting). WME9 has option to convert to HD. Free software and works well. Also try Movie Maker, not very professional but can do the job:) I never try VS10+ for streaming projects, and just started with VS10+ and still on learning stage:)
I'm using streaming video very often on my job. If you need any questions about WME9, please ask.
