studiovison 10 plus with sony HDR-SR1 avcHD camcorder

i can't capture video (hd or sd) directly from my sony hdr-sr1. probably because of the new fotmat AVCHD. any news on that???

Sony released the SR1 before it had established software support for the AVCHD format. As MD said, Video Studio is "expected" to support this and other H.264 formats in version 11, expected in 3-4 months.
