video capture problem - colour

Post by syorga »

Hi,

I have just reformatted my PC and reinstalled MSP8. I also installed its SP1. The problem arises when i wanted to capture video from my DVcam thru the firwire. The preview screen does not show the original colour of the video. It has a sort of negative film sort of colour.

I have adjusted the PC's resolution and did not touch any default settings of the video capture. i cant seem to find the source of the problem.

My settings:

Intel P3 1Ghz, 120Gb with 512MB of memory.
Nvidia FX graphic card (all monitor and graphic card drivers have been installed)
PAL system
Panasonic GS-500 dvcam

thanks for all the help.

Another user postd a similar question earlier this week in the CD&DVD Picture Show forum. The cure to that users problem was to re-install the NVidia Graphics Card driver. Perhaps you need to check the Nvidia website to see if there are any updated drivers.
