error audio AC3

hello I have a problem when capturing video from a DVD the sound has a called format AC3 and he is not compatible with the version that I have (Ulead 9 SE) and the video does not contain audio anybody knows like solving it

There was a plugin available in the past, doubt that you can still buy it on line. The costs for it were similar to an upgrade of VS. Because your SE version is a freebee, neutered in many ways

I would suggest to upgrade to the latest version, VS10 plus. It has AC3 support built in and can even do Dolby 5.1. It also has great DVD authoring features.

AC3 is the 'correct' name for Dolby Digital. due to licensing issues it cannot be included in Trial or SE versions.
the Full version of VideoStudio 9 and as mentioned by Heinz VS10/VS10+ includes Dolby Digital (AC3) built in.

If you do not wish to upgrade then you need to look for a program that will convert your AC3 audio into another format such as WAV, PCM or MP3.
