Trial Version Pictureshow 4

A newbie here. I have downloaded cd&dvd PS 4 twice. I click on the short cut, the trial page loads, and then I click on try. The hour glass comes on for about 2 seconds and then nothing.

I am on windows xp home. Any ideas on why I can not get this thing to open?
