I'm using DVDWS 1.3 with the AC pack. In trying to include the DVD player on the disc I get the following error message: "the run time player does not support AC-3 audio in this version".
I am producing a series of legal depositions that my client will play on their laptop and I want to ensure it will play correctly, hence the reason I would like to include the player. My question is, if I upgrade to Workshop 2, will I be able to include the player and have it support AC-3 audio?
Thanks in advance,
DVD Workshop 1.3 with AC-3
no
Ulead removed the Runtime Player from DVD WS 2.x (I don't know why).
But if you know for sure your clients will view your DVD on their laptops (or desktop computer), then you can author your dvd with mpeg audio knowing that the Runtime Player will support mpeg audio.
You can also use LPCM audio, but because lpcm audio uses up alot of space, you won't be able to fit as much video on to your dvd...

But some NTSC DVD players do not support MPEG audio, just a note.
