inserting an image where you want

Post by dmz »

Ive tried everything to insert image between clips. I position the triangle thing where i want to insert and right click to insert a picture. Everytime I insert an image it puts it at the end of all my clips in the project. this is obviously annoying. How do I insert a photo exactly where i want please?
p.s. i have vs10+

This is a bug with VS10 + . I believe the way it is intended to work, is by selecting the overlay track, by clicking on its icon, then placing the cursor where you want to insert the image/clip, right-click choose insert... However like you said, VS just inserts it to the end of the track, and sometimes, not even the correct track A real pain in the ...

The only way to insert an image exactly where you want it in an existing timeline is to import the images to the image library and then drag and drop from the library to the timeline.

I have just discovered that you can open up the folder with your photos and drag and drop them between the clips as you need them. This would only work if you are a very multi clip person like myself.
