Hi,
I'm facing some problems with video studio 10 during installation. I've tried to launch the Autorun.exe file but an error pops up saying error signature.
AppName: demo32.exe AppVer: 7.51.100.2019 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000a0100
In the technical fault page, i can see that there are the modules listed but doesnt really specify which module is causing the fault.

Previously, i've installed video studio 8, 9 with no problems and it ran smoothly. After not using the program for about 5 months, and numerous updates to my computer, the program seems to stop functioning. Then i decided to upgrade to version 10 but i cant seem to get it working. I tried to run setup.exe instead of autorun, i manage to get the program installed but during launching of the program, the same error appears and i dont get to enter video studio at all.
I'm using:
Windows xp pro, sp2

Dear all,
after reading numerous methods and ways to solve the issues around the forum, i've found out that by removing codecs packs helps to solve the error signature problem. Another thing that i did is setting the ulead hardware audio codec as the first priority. i think that cleared all problems of starting the v10 software up.
hopefully people who are experiencing the same problem like i do gain some light in solving this problem.
