VS10+ Installation Help
Hi, I just purchased the vs 10+ software. I got the bonus template packages too. There were 5 downloads for me to download. One of the downloads was a zipped file that was 240mb. I unzipped it after I installed the first 2 downloads and it was unzipped to some temp folder. Do I need to find it and do anything with it or is it automaticaly put in VS after I use the VS program? Or should I unzip it into the VS program manually? It was bonus features, download 240mb, I'm not sure what it includes but it seems like I have everything when I open the software. Thanks for any help!

Hi Bullitmustang, welcome to the forums,
The extra content is not required to run VS10+. It should have 9 folders:
3D Video (15 avi files)
Introduction Video (9 avi files)
Sample Video (9 avi files)
Background Image (approx 72 *.bmp images)
Music (10 *.mp3 files)
Sound (25 *.wav files)
Frame (15 *.png files)
Object(42 *.png files)
Theater Background (20 *.jpg files)
There is no installer for those above files/folders. You can copy them to wherever you would like onto your system.
WinDVD 7 is also included in the bonus content, however an installer is provided.

Thanks for your replys! OK, I unzipped it again to a folder that I made within the "my documents" folder. I am now able to find them. The first time was in an administers documents temp folder that was hidden I think. Now that I have them where I can find them how do I acess the content when I am using the VS software? Like the introduction videos or the "The End" screen in the sample videos. Thanks for any help, I am really new at this!

What I do is in VS create a special Library called VS10 Xtra Content. I do one for the Video, Images, and Objects. Then in each one of those I load the Extra Content, by clicking on the Folder icon, navigating to the drive where I have the Bonus content and selecting them.
If you choose at sometime you don't want the extra content while working with VS, then just delete the library.
