MCE 2005, Video Studio, Roxio 9 and ATI conflict

Post by Robfly80 »

I have a sony vaio dual core 2gb running microsoft media center MCE 2005 with ati all-in-wonder x1800xl and an ATI HDTV wonder tuner. I am having problems with ulead video studio 10 sp1. I get a conflict with a cinemasterAudio.dll and a constant MCE reciever error. Removing video studio fixes the problem. Video studio also made the MCE run slow and slugish. I think there were more conflicts but did not explore debugging it.
Has anyone successfully got video studio 10 and roxio 9 and a ati all-in-wonder running on MCE to work?
The last time I tried to get video studio to work was 2 months ago ati release 6.08. ATI just released new drivers 6.12  and MCE has had lot of patches since the last time I tried to get video studio to work.

Anyone have this problem?

I think you'll find that Roxio is causing the conflict issue. It tries to hijack any burning performed on your PC. To be honest, I simply uninstalled it and haven't had an issue since. Nero seems to play a little better with Video Studio 10.

Hi,

I think it's a Roxio problem. CineMasterAudio.dll is a file from Sonic / Roxio and it's causing the error you have. Remove Roxio should solve the issue.
