VS 10 Layout_Template

Hi... on everybody in this board. It is also my fist time to stay here.

My problem... I made a movie and when I try to create a disc - I like to change the video clip into the preview of the layout template. I know, it is possible to change the background video, but that is not what I wont. My problem is... I like to play an other Intro only in the preview, but not start it when the main movie come up.

Have somebody a way to due it? Thanks for your helping hand... Hardy

If I understand your question correctly - you want a small piece of video to show first - and then your menu screen opens and you can start your main video - Yes ???

Just put the small piece of video first in the 'Create Disc' timeline - then 'click to tick' in the box just above it labelled "Use First Clip as Introductory Video" - then continue with the rest of your menus.

Or did you mean something different ??

I did your step... but the problem - always when the main movie get opened over the start button of the template... this seperate movie come up first... my question is - how create my project without running this seperate clip on the beginning of the main movie.

...maybe it¡¬s better to explain again.

VS 10 got a couple design templates to give your movie a better shine. When I finished my project, I select one of the design template. Now, I got the option to change the background movie or the picture. Only what I wont... change in the design ( looks like the TV¡¬s design etc.) that at the start of the DVD my intro have to come up into that small place. If I try to select "play this clip first", then I loose the complete design - and have no eye catcher for this movie.

Maybe now it¡¬s better to understand which probleme I got...
