I want to capture analog video from my Hi8 camcorder and I have a Osprey 100 capture card that I bought a few years back, is this card supported in Ulead VS 10+?
Thanks

It depends what format you are trying to capture in. The Osprey website, and other articles on the device, are very unclear as to exactly what format it can use. It seems clear that it can capture uncompressed AVI and apparently also Windows Media format WMV and (ugh) Real Video. But apart from those, the only reference I can find to formats it uses gives the following:
"Video Formats:
* Packed: RGB32, RGB24, RGB16, RGB15
* Grey8, YUV2 (4:2:2), YUV (4:1:1)
* Planar: YUV12, YUV9
Software Package includes:
* WDM and VFW interface, kernel driver, capture driver, documentation
* VidCap32 VFW Viewing Application
* SwiftCap DirectShow Viewing Application"
(See http://www.teamsolutions.co.uk/osprey/tsosp100.html )
I suspect that you may have to use the software which came with the device to capture, and then -- if it is in some recognisable format -- import it into VS10 for editing.
